a-team
Delaware
A-Team Delaware is a nonprofit organization comprised of parents/caregivers and providers who are advocating for DE residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The Board of Directors is made up of volunteers who are parents of children and adults with IDD. Our goal is to help other families as we advocate for the IDD community.
Join us as we advocate for:
-
Housing options for ALL levels of I/DD (24-7 community-based care, group homes, independent living)
-
Higher pay for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)— the staff who work to care for adults with I/DD
-
Partnerships between state agencies and organizations that support I/DD adults
Visit our resource page and attend our Zoom meetings to learn more about helping your child/adult with I/DD.
Sign up for our mailing list to receive meeting invites and recordings, the latest news and information, opportunities to network, and more!
